Founder 

## Amy Beyer

FNP-C — Owner & Founder

📍 Palmyra Location

Amy grew up in Fluvanna County and attended Liberty University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She returned to Fluvanna where she married her husband Stephen Beyer, another lifelong Fluco. After working for several years at UVA, Amy continued her education at James Madison University and obtained her Master of Science in Nursing to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Amy is the owner and founder of Fluvanna Health Clinic. She is a board-certified autonomous nurse practitioner and has been working as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2014. She has extensive experience working with all ages, providing services in urgent care, post-acute rehabilitation, and long-term care settings.

Her passion is to serve the community she grew up in and make a difference in the lives of her neighbors. In her free time, Amy can be found at the soccer field watching her son play, volunteering in the community, or planning for her yearly medical mission trips to Liberia.

### Jessica DiGiorgio

📍 Palmyra Location

Dr. Jessica DiGiorgio, DNP, FNP-C, began serving Fluvanna County in 2021 during her family nurse practitioner clinical rotations. From the beginning, she developed a strong connection to the community and remained committed to returning to practice there following graduation.

Dr. DiGiorgio earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Liberty University in 2023. She is deeply dedicated to promoting community health and has a particular interest in preventive care and overall wellness. In June 2023, she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation, which featured an evidence-based practice project focused on implementing United States Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) lung cancer screening guidelines at Fluvanna Health Clinic in Palmyra, Virginia.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. DiGiorgio is actively involved in international medical mission efforts through both Liberty University and her church. She has provided care in Guatemala, Rwanda, Nicaragua, and Liberia.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Dr. DiGiorgio values maintaining a balanced and active lifestyle. She enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly hiking and staying physically active through regular workouts. She also finds joy in the simple routine of making specialty coffees with her espresso machine, often using it as a way to slow down and connect with others. Much of her free time is devoted to traveling with her husband, Nick, and creating meaningful memories with friends and family. She remains actively engaged in her church community, where she continues to invest her time and energy in the children's ministry and her Bible study group.

### Kelly Caniglia

📍 Fork Union Location

Dr. Kelly Caniglia is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered primary care. She earned her Master of Community Health from Liberty University in 2020 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice/Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2024.

Kelly completed most of her clinical training and doctoral work at Fluvanna Health Clinic, where her passion for community-based, personable care was strengthened. With a background in medical-surgical and operating room settings, she brings a well-rounded perspective to managing both acute and chronic conditions.

Kelly is committed to building long-term relationships with her patients, focusing on prevention, education, and personalized care to support overall health and wellness at every stage of life.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new local spots, reading, and relaxing with her cats.

### Jacob Payne

📍 Fork Union Location

Jacob Payne, MSN, FNP-C, began his nursing career in 2021 after earning his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from James Madison University. He returned to JMU to complete his Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration in 2026. For over four years he worked as a pediatric nurse at UVA, where he spent caring for children and supporting families through compassionate practice.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Jacob is driven by a commitment to community health. He values shared decision-making, evidence-based practice, preventive care, and building long-term relationships with his patients.

Outside of work Jacob enjoys fitness, running marathons and ultramarathons, lifting weights, spending time outdoors, and sharing life with his wife.

### Danielle Kardell

📍 Palmyra & Fork Union Locations

As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and over 27 years of experience in healthcare, Danielle is dedicated to promoting holistic health and wellness in her patients. She specializes in providing individuals and families with personalized care, health education, and preventative services. Her clinical focus includes female and male hormonal health, nutrition counseling, and helping patients achieve optimal wellness at every stage of life.

Danielle believes in a patient-centered approach. She collaborates with individuals to empower her patients with the tools and knowledge to address their physical, emotional, and lifestyle needs.

Outside of her professional life, Danielle has lived in the Albemarle/Fluvanna area for 25 years on a family farm with her husband and four children. In her free time, she enjoys raising cattle, goats, and honey bees as well as hiking and kayaking.

### Michelle Lecuyer

📍 Palmyra Location

Michelle moved to Fluvanna in 2014 with her two kids and has been in love with the county ever since. She is happy to call Fluvanna home and has enjoyed raising her kids here in the county.

Michelle started working at Fluvanna Health Clinic in 2025 and loves being a part of the team. She's always excited to be the first person to meet and greet each person that comes in the clinic daily.

Michelle is thankful for God's blessing in her life and loves sharing that joy with everyone around her.

### Christain Lynch

With 29 years of customer service experience, Christain is dedicated to making every patient feel welcomed, valued, and cared for from the moment they walk through the door. Her professional background includes extensive experience in call center management, team leadership, and office operations, where she developed a reputation for exceptional customer service, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to helping others.

Christain moved to Fluvanna County in 2017. She and her husband, Tommy, enjoy spending their free time at their lake house. Christain is also the owner of CC's Boutique, a local women's clothing store where she values building strong relationships with her customers.

As Office Manager, Christain is committed to ensuring every patient has a positive experience and feels supported throughout their visit. She is honored to be part of the Fluvanna Health Clinic team and looks forward to serving the community for years to come.

Tami Bourne has worked as an administrator for more than 20 years and she still enjoys it. Through the years Tami has done many things including being a business owner and working in administration.
